Supporting Pain Away

Using compression bands provides muscle relief with each step. As you move, these bands support muscles in need of care, and work out trigger points affecting ideal motion. A basic bodyweight squat with bands on will activate your leg muscles, easing tension and breaking up adhesions linked to pain. If you don’t feel relief when standing, the band may be too loose. A snug fit allows for shorter wear time but is effective in reducing pain; follow it with gentle movements to continue improvement. If you had significant pain before, begin with walking. Enjoy any relief you feel, but refrain from challenging exercises until you've discussed your pain with your doctor.   We must consider why the pain is present in the first place.  Compression bands can significantly alleviate pain but shouldn’t be the only component in healing long term.  Reducing pain as quick as possible and focusing the care plan area is a great first step.  No sense reminding in painwhen a simple supportive application can ease the suffering.  A helpful video demonstrates an effective band application technique, especially beneficial during severe pain. Starting with extra support can lead to quicker pain relief.
