Designed Just Right

The title might not be accurate based on the following information. However, the body reacts to pain in expected ways, which is our focus. For instance, leg length differences affect 70% of people, causing one leg to be longer than the other. This can create muscle problems and "locked limbs" while standing.  This may cause individuals to shift their weight from side to side. This  puts stress on the stabilizing muscles behind the knee. Compression support with gentle movements help this area. Many cases of scoliosis linked to low back pain also show leg length differences. While not the main cause, it’s a pattern that can be managed to lessen pain. We focus on the weakest areas and provide support. This means I rarely care for where the pain is actually presenting in the low back.  Our work focuses on why the pain presenting.  Each pain is a teaching moment.

Consider grip strength in the fingers. The forearm tires and eventually gives out. If feet tired like hands, people would easily fall and injure themselves. Instead, the lower legs tighten to keep balance, which then puts more strain on the lower back and hips by excessive pulling which can cause damage to the shock absorbing disc in the back. There's a saying in chiropractic care: if one only treats where it hurts, they are missing part of the problem. Our bodies aim to move and function even when in pain to prevent serious injuries. Interconnected muscle groups work together for smooth motion and adaptable strength. Pain signals that something isn't working correctly. Acute pain can be managed effectively, and chronic pain can be reduced quickly. Below is another care support that may need to be applied soon after the first wrap in more chronic pain issues.

I suggest this work as a focusing for areas that truly need care in effective ways that you can feel the initial pain reduction right away. If the pain is still present upon standing the band is not in the right spot or not quite tight enough! The support and trigger point relief may be enough and the locations of support will probably shift as pain patterns are unwound! Vitalistic foods and minerals may expedite the healing.
